*ABOUT MICHAEL VOSS*

* ABOUT MICHAEL VOSS *

michael voss was born somewhere in germany '65.
at the age of 13 he grabbed his first guitar and instantly on touching it he knew he would be infected by a life-long music virus.
in 1979, aged fourteen, michael made his first concert appearance with the popular band 'crossfield'. this thrilling experience created a major impression within his heart and from that moment on he found it impossible to concentrate on his school work, knowing his future lay way beyond the subject matters taught there and thus dedicated every living moment in pursuance of that goal.

wherever and whenever michael had the chance to sing or play he grabbed the opportunity with both eager hands and almost every bar or club he passed where live music was playing he eagerly brought his guitar and voice to the public’s appreciative ears.

his first recordings were with the heavy metal band 'mad max'…gaining public credibility with both his voice and his inseparable guitar he later was offered a place fronting the bavarian rockers 'bonfire' joining them for their highly successful european tour of 1989-90.

michael’s talent which shone out throughout the tour attracted the attention of the a&r executive at warners to set up the hard rock band 'casanova' with whom he recorded two successful albums which in turn inspired michael to write his own songs and create his own productions which he does to this day having built recording studios in the black forest.

universal records, noting his skillful song writing were eager to sign michael to a publishing deal and since that day he has gone on to write and record with many international artists.
one of them was the world famous guitarist michael schenker of ufo and scorpions who was quick to appreciate michael’s talent as player/producer and collaborated with him on hit albums (resurrection, universal, immortal) whilst his role as lead singer with heavysaurus deservedly brought him international recognition.

his latest crowning glory is the production of a seminal hard rocking and rolling album in tribute to the late great rick parfitt where michael has collected together the outstanding musical talents of many great musicians and vocalists from all around the world.
please find attached a list of musicians that michael has been working with.
